The region

Chez Rambaud is situated in the department of the Haute Vienne (Limousin region), just a few kilometers from the Dordogne and Charente borders.

The area has marked out routes for ramblers and cyclists to follow. There are numerous markets and festivals throughout the year. Stunning châteaux and churches to visit.

For the fisherman there are many rivers to fish, such as the Charente and the Vienne. There are also numerous lakes, two of which are large leisure lakes within a 10 minute drive, that have sandy beaches and accommodate both pedal boats and bathers. A kayaking school within a 15 minute drive and an adventure park.

Alternatively, relax by your caravan and watch the birdlife around you, which includes Honey Buzzards, Hoo-Poes, Woodpeckers and many more.
